Fuel Surcharge

Dramatic increases in fuel prices have forced carriers to re-evaluate fuel surcharges in recent months. Concord Transportation has made every effort to delay and/or avoid applying a fuel surcharge, where other carriers started applying earlier.

The people most responsible for Concord's outstanding service over the years, our owner operators, are the ones most affected by this increase in fuel. Concord's policy has always been to take the revenue from the fuel surcharge and give it back to the owner operator's, and that will not change with this latest application.

Concord Transportation uses the department of energy eia retail on-highway diesel price index to establish our weekly fuel surcharge levels.
